[All of us] “Track day, bro! Going to the track day, bro! Got Hoosiers for the track day, bro!”
[Some guy in a lifted Wrangler with 40” mud tires] “I’m going to Moab!”
I don’t have the heart to tell him that he’s at Watkins Glen, and Moab is 1,974 miles away

You know he’s really just going to REI again. Probably pick up a new pair of Keen sandals.

He could be about to embark on an epic road trip

Epic road trip you say? I just finished a 3,300 mile move. I’ll do a writeup once I get my furniture and can sit down on a chair.

Clean your exhaust! This is what it should look like during a 2500+ mile excursion. The R tips corrode easily.

You can’t be scared of a little mud. I refuse to wash cars on long road trips especially through the dusty flatlands of the midwest then the muddy rockies then finally the desert in WA. I’ll wash them now that we have arrived but driving through Yellowstone made both cars look something like this.
The unpaved roads of yellowstone waiting for the crews to get to it before the August winter.
