Do you do composite stuff?

We do, but that’s not our main focus. I work as a rigger for sailboats, but we do just about every aspect of dealing with sailboats besides motor stuff. Fiberglass/Carbon work, standing rigging, running rigging, painting, fairing, refitting.

I'm content with my J/105 (as in, I can't afford that)

Haha the 105 is not a bad boat at all, a guy down here had one for a little while before we converted him to the dark side(multihulls).

Multihulls are sweet, though I’m not sure if i’d enjoy one any bigger than your basic 16’ Hobie to play around on. Maybe it’s something about heeling over...

His replacement for the 105 was a Corsair 28R that he did a few nationals campaigns on, it's hard to beat doing close to 30 knots in a 20+ boat fleet.

I just did a race where the race committee announced the multi start as “next up will the class for those with too many hulls” - my sentiments as well unless it's a hobie in the Keys :)
