My Windows 10 upgrade has been stuck here for hours. This is just loading the license agreement I’m pretty sure! What the heck!?
Is anyone else having this issue? Id like to get the upgrade done...
Edit: Brother got it figured out.

Don’t feel bad, my computer told me I had to upgrade to 8.1 before I even was given the option of reserving 10. At 82% it overheated and shut off, resetting back to 8. #hplife

I’m scared to attempt the update on mine. If it takes as long as my Mac updates then I’ll wait and do it when I have lots of time this weekend.

I’ve updated two systems so far—a convertible HP laptop and a Surface Pro (1.0) tablet—and both went without a hitch. That said, it is a process. The download was 2-3 GB and the install/configuration was probably around 30 minutes on a system with an SSD hard drive. If you have a spinning HDD, I bet the process would take significantly longer.

My computer usually does updates quite quickly but I’ve seen/heard that many people are having trouble installing Win10. I hope mine just does it like it normally does, it's only running Win7 so it could take a while to add all the new stuff.

Good luck. My systems were both Windows 8.1, so a lot of variables in play. I’ve got a Win7 desktop I’m thinking about migrating, but I’m waiting on that one for a while...
