There should be more blue cars. I'm tired of grey/silver cars everywhere.

I recommend the swift application of an inverse tachyon pulse.

Or a wank.

Sort of disappointed that they’re calling it the 488 Spider. Since the coupe is called the 488 GTB, I was hoping the convertible would be the 488 GTS, but no such luck.

Eh...

I love the blue.

I don’t like the crease on the front or the divider in the scoop right behind the door.

Yeah. All of the sudden McLaren MP4-12C Spyder has a competitor. Considering that I am not as big a fan of the 650S’s squinty eyes... 488 Spyder might win out.

I messed around with the 488 GTB configurator, and Ferrari has some nice ways of making a car gorgeous....

Tour De France Blue (darker than this), with a Bordeaux ruddy-brown (reddish) leather interior with Daytona style seats, with dark blue Daytona stripes, and a dark blue upper dash in leather... and a blackout roof, and a bunch of trim pieces in clear coated CF... silverstone gray brakes and carbon disks under forged wheels... (although I would want some matte gold/bronze forged wheels.) I would want the windshield frame and roof panels in CF or blacked out, too.

I also wonder if there is an option for an airflow vane bridging between the two flying buttresses, just behind the roof, like 308/328, and 512BB used to have, to direct airflow over the windscreen back down toward the rear “blown spoiler” (ferrari’s words, not mine.)

I badly wish there were an affordable sport car that could have such a slick roofline, and a folding targa/convertible hard-top.

Scion FR-S Turbo Spyder could have been a candidate. (I photoshopped this a while back...)
