Sudden realization: I have been reading Jalopnik/Gawker for 6 years.

On a whim I went and looked through my comment history. It was mostly uninteresting literary tripe from someone who was clearly in love with his own stupid ideas, but there was one COTD in there as well as a reference to the Thundercougarfalconbird. Back in 2010 I was getting pedantic about the wheel size on WRXes vs STIs. I also wrote something absolutely ridiculous about one of Bashcraft’s kids on Kotaku that was also ripped off of Futurama, and at some point afterward I used the term “Undubitably.”

Even back then, I was ranting and raving about the NSX and how awesome they were. No wonder I wound up owning one at the expense of my own financial future.

Anyone else go through their comment memories and find any turds or gems they want to share?

I went back to 2010 on comments. But, I lurked way before, and read Gizmodo before Jalopnik. Now I’m exclusively on Oppo.

I was the same way. Lurked around on Gizmodo until I found Jalopnik through them. Then after a year or so on Jalopnik, I got an account so I could comment. Then I found Oppo. Haven't gone back. The front page is...scary...to say the least.

Same here. I would check Gizmodo for Apple news, then somehow ended up on Jalopnik. I can’t remember the reply I created an account to make. It was probably something about Jags, Minis, or Vanagons. I’m sure someone was wrong, and I had to chime in.. :)

Trying to find old pictures of my Mk2 I found a comment of mine on autoblog from 6 years ago. I correctly predicted the Audi SQ3 when whining about the rumored Macan further diluting the Porsche brand.

Clearly the Porsche name is stronger than I thought.

Anyways, I’ve popped onto jalopnik a handful of times over the years. I didn’t stick until about a year ago, then lost my burner password. So I created this.
