Well anyway, that bolt in the picture bent, went & bought 2 more bolts, one broke, ground out hole for wheel stud to fit a bigger bolt, worked the bearing off the knuckle. My wife came out & helped a bit. Anti-seized everything put it back together.

After the wife & kids nap I’ll re tighten the axle nut, slap the wheel on & go for a spin.

Cha Ching!!!!! Saving moneys. Although looking at other things I need to replace sway bar end links & tie rod boots are cracked.

I’ll get the end links ordered but allow the shop to do the tie rods when inspection is due in Sep.

I Cant believe how much people spend to have other people fix thier cars. of course I have never had to experience myself. I try to follow the rule that if it will be easier to get to the part to fix now I will replace it of course you can go deep into the dark abyss of “might as well since im in there” but as long as its safe and can be easily gotten to at another time i will put it off.
