Saw a SRT 392 Charger today

A guy who frequents the carwash where I work just picked up a gorgeous 392 Charger just like the one you see above. When I fired it up to pull it out of the wash, I had an eargasm. Spoke with the owner for a few minutes while cleaning the interior and he absolutely loves it. A few coworkers asked him to step on it when leaving the parking lot and he gladly obliged. Pedal to the floor...good god that thing makes some noise. Dodge is making some killer cars right now.

I don’t think there’s ever been a point where I’ve wanted a Dodge so much in the past like I do now. Hell, I’d take an R/T, dat HEMI noise is fantastic!

Love the 392! I personally think the 392 has a sexier exhaust note than the Hellcat, it’s just missing the whine of the supercharger.

I have to say, dodge/fca in number one when it comes to American manufacturers in my book right now. I can't really think of a product in their portfolios I wouldn't buy right now other than the Compass.

I remember seeing your first post about that! What didn’t you like about the car? Dodge has reaaaalllly stepped up their interiors in some of the higher trims IMO.

The interior is fine. Uconnect isn’t bad either but they still do the buttons on the back of the wheel thing which is dumb.

The way it drove is where I had issues. Clutch and shifter were great, but the steering was miserably bad.

I heard one floor it out of a parking lot the other day, the exhaust note has a very pissed off ring to it! Can’t believe a Dodge could spark my interest this much.
