A Lancia Ypsilon like this appeared in my mirror.

Kinja'd!!!

In surprising news, the following model, based on the 500 and made in Poland, was briefly sold as a Chrysler in rhd markets.

I always rather liked the Y10/Y/Ypsilon. Where else do you get factory alcantara upholstery this cheap?

Obligatory pink alcantara/ fake wood Lancia Y interior:

The Chrysler Ypsilon is still available in the U.K.

I know it’s just a grille but I’d rather it with a Lancia grille.

I’ve actually always liked the little Ypsilon, myself.

Not for much longer though. Chrysler are being withdrawn in 2017.

That doesn't come as a surprise. They only have the 300c, Ypsilon and Grand Voyager in the U.K. They simply aren't a company Brits look at, at all. They are an 'also ran' when it comes to cars here.

I remember the 300C sold a few when it first came out, then they tended to be used as limos and frequently stretched as well. I couldn’t imagine anyone buying one as an actual everyday car.

I know a guy who bought one, changed all the panels and sloped the roof and lowered the suspension, looked like a completely different car afterwards. The 300c pretty much only ever sold to people who watched too much Sopranos on TV.
