So after watching every review on Youtube and reading everything I can find on the car, I finally saw a Cayman GT4 in the flesh today on the way to work. It looked fantastic! Compact and muscular. Not my favorite color but still fantastic!
Not sure why it posts them sideways but...

I would prefer blue, silver, red, green, or copper orange or something... rather than fly yellow, but that is a preference thing.
The sad part is... it is probably a psychological thing for wanting what can’t be had...
I think I would prefer it with a PDK gearbox. It is a speed machine, and PDK is technically faster for clicking off shifts. Race cars have adopted automated gearboxes for a while now, for good reason. (and if I had crazy money.... I would be looking into what goes into the Carrera S/GTS engine power kit to raise the 3.8’s horsepower from 390-ish to over markedly over 400hp... and what could be adapted to Cayman GT4.)
Cayman GT4 is utterly fantastic, but only further begs the question, what would a PDK, PowerKit, and 2-mode exhaust (selectable cutouts) do for a Cayman GT4-RS.
Now Boxster Spyder, or even Boxster S... I would go with a 6MT, because that car is all about feedback and sensation, which is the whole point of having a an open-air cockpit, rather than a roof’s addition to chassis rigidity, and by extension suspension handling limits.
