ThinkGeek, purveyor of many things cool and nerdy, is advertising this little device that plugs into your cigarette lighter, and can charge USB devices, as well as playing audio clips (hopefully of William Daniels’ voice...)
Someone should build this into a dashboard, and channel Siri, Cortana, or whatever other smart-device voice-synth assistant, through the William Daniels Voice pattern overlay, with the wave-form LED driver making the LED light bars react.
Maybe there is a KITT/William Daniels version of a digital voice-reactive assistant out there, already... or HAL9000, or Majel Barrett’s computer voice from Star Trek.
Modern tech is nearly at the point of KITT being mostly a reality, with computer feedback with lots of information, teleconferencing, and even automated driving. Although perhaps not some of the outward bits like nearly complete invulnerability, and launching the car over other things, or transforming into a ridiculous super-pursuit mode.
