...but I’ve just found out I’ve got an interview for a promotion at 3:15! So, I’m asking for any prayers / good vibes / karma / whatever from you guys because I’m a nervous wreck right now. You guys rock! Here’s a blueprint (redprint?) of the Ferrari 3.5-liter V12 290MM motore that won the 1956 Mille Miglia.

EDIT : Interview is complete! Thank you all for the wishes and vibes and luck and confidence! I don’t know if I really blew them away, but I’m pretty confident I didn’t blow it, hahaha! They said they’d have a decision by tomorrow morning, so I’ll keep you guys posted! I also found out that there are 16 other people that I’m competing against, but there are actually two openings, so my chances just doubled!

Good luck! Just chill out and be confident.

I had a similar situation a few months back. HR was blocking application because I’d gotten a level raise the last year, but then my manager proved them that that wasn’t really rule. Got the call art 11 that had an interview at 1.

Nailed it. But then my manager had a similar position open and made a deal with the other manager to keep me in my old group (still got a 15% raise!).

Lol, will do, if I ever make it there! Right now I’m just in an entry level position and this, while still a promotion, will keep me in the same department. For my current position, we have a commitment to this department for 18 months before we can move somewhere else, but we can still move up within this department (which is what I was interviewing for). So I won’t be too high and mighty yet, but that’ll come soon enough. ;)
