My friend has one and he says they are cheap right now, he thinks it’s in a zone of not being air cooled but not as new anymore. Now is the time to buy. He has a nice one and thinks it’s only worth 25k right now.

If I had the $25,000 to spend on a 996, I totally would. Obviously the first thing I would do is fix the IMS.

He has way more maintenance than my 240z, the tyres are expensive too. He has to limit his milage or he can’t afford it.

I have worked on the Z over time. I’m probably at 25k into it. If I were to have something more modern I would probably import a skyline, I go to Japan a couple times a year.
