So...I bought a German thing...

I had asked for opinions on a vehicle about a week and a half ago and last Saturday I bought that thing.

Meet Firewrx’s new DD, a 2012 Mercedes-Benz C250. Only 14,400 miles and in a red that I would hate on ANY other car.

It has 18” AMG wheels that are stock on the C250 coupes and I love them. (I honestly thought the wheels were 17’s in person before I read the side wall.

It has LED taillights and DRL’s that I love and, truth be told, I LOVE the panoramic sunroof!!! And as far as pickup and handling goes...this car is MUCH better than anyone gives it credit for. I’ve not had a single moment when I’ve needed more or been upset with what the turbo 1.8L gave me. (Terrible photos...excuse the phone, it’s being used in the hands of an amateur...my bad...)

Now my garage looks like this:

The first thing that will be done to the C250 is it will get some tinting. I haven’t had a car without tint in a while and it is quite a startling thing.

Also, I still have the Charger for the time being, but I know it will have to sell within the next couple months. I’ll be sure to make the best of the time I have with it though :)

Dang, I’m gonna miss this car!

Nothing wrong with the Charger, just with 111k miles and warranty about to expire, I’m not sure I want to be footing the bill on a 9 year old sports car. Don’t get me wrong, I love that car but warranty has picked up the tab on quite a few different occasions over the last year and I wouldn’t have enjoyed paying it lol.

I will miss it but dropping almost 100k miles is exciting.

I actually just had my dealership check it out to see if they could find anything wrong with the Charger and all that they could come up with that needed any attention whatsoever was the front tires. All-in-all great car!

My dad’s got the 2014 C300, and although it’s great car, I feel like the last gen has it beat in the looks department, especially with the Sport grille. Even my dad, who’s always VERY defensive about his auto choices, thinks the current one looks like a tad truckish up front.

The old C-Class is just a straight up villain car. Not a Ganondorf or Goldfinger-tier villain-an S-Class would be too plebeian for them-but a Wolf O’Donnell or Draco Malfoy sorta villain. A minor baddy that we love to hate and/or write copious amounts of gay slash-fiction about hate to love.

I’m honestly not too sure what sort of fictional character/archetype would drive the current one though. Probably a background character.
