A B-Model Mack, chopped down into a pickup truck. Heck, I just want a B-Model Mack. What’s your favorite big rig Oppo?

Apparently Loadstars are the “New” Rat Rod.
I’m 110% behind this.
As long as it has functional A/C.

Pete 379 or maybe a GMC 5-Star General. Really anything with a Detroit 2-stroke.

I had one “run wild” on me a long time ago. Scary.

I love cab-overs, it doesn’t matter what company, i think they’re awesome. As my dad always says though, “if you’re ever in an accident in a cab over, you’re the first one there.”

I love the bobbed semi-pickups, in all honesty some are smaller than actual modern full-size pickups.

Yes. I love Internationals. Its a shame they don’t make anything small anymore

A Pete 379 is what crushed my dads hand when a lift gave way when he still worked for a local trucking company as a mechanic. (he’s okay now and still has full function of his hand, and has since started working as the county’s 911 coordinator, something where he is less likely to get his hand crushed.)

It’s something that might take a while to catch on. It needs to catch on though.

Indeed. There’s no lack of supply so it has that going for it. Maybe we can use this to bait the brodozers into changing their ways? I think think that would be a win-win!

Surprised by the lack of big rigs on Oppo. My favorite has always been the Mack Model R. All the local sand and gravel companies had them as I was growing up in the ‘90s. Still remember them jaking hard as they entered the neighborhood. A lot of them had that odd looking cab too.

Stretched rigs are my favorite. I really like the chopped regular cabs, but a stretched cab-over is perfectly acceptable as well.
The super extended sleeper cabs just dont look as good to me, but sleeper cabs have their purposes...

I’m a fan of that grille, keeps the whole thing simple and clean, that’s a nice rig.

One summer when I was a kid the local highway-bypass was closed for construction, so all the trucks had to go thru town, they never saw the “Brake retarders prohibited sign” so you would get the occasional Jake brake go off at 2 in the morning and shake the whole freaking house. Good times.

Scania L110. In orange. Because orange was the only colour available during the first years or so

Not that quirky, it is one of the trucks that made Brazil, so even today, if you go on a road trip it is quite possible you see one of the orange monsters working, so it sort of is a common sight
