A 300hp V8 seems like porridge “just right” for a truck that size.

They should put a V8 in the new one.

I buy the shit out of that. Or, 4.5 Duramax/V6 diesel like in the Ram.

The problem is it’s hooked up to a 4L60e... Torque management really neuters it. Still, V8.

Actually, if they’d brought out the 4.5 Duramax in the halftons before they went bankrupt, I’d probably have picked up a manual 4-banger Colorado, pulled a 4.5 out of the wreakers and swapped it :)

I wish I could’ve found aN extended cab RWD v8 Colorado. That would've been awesome, but I'm extremely satisfied with my Silverado.

That would be the ZQ8... that would be my prefered mount if I didn’t want 4x4. Lower, coils instead of tortion bars up front, faster steering rack. Pretty potent little truck.

Absolutely, but their a rare beast around here. Most end up like yours (nothing wrong with that I assure you). I do hope the street suspension returns the new Canyorado would look really good lowered.

Many of the V8’s I saw were 2wd, and I believe it was you who couldn’t find a 1st gen S10 in reasonable condition? We have a fair amount of those too—maybe it’s time move
