I’m a 2+2 sports car, my body is fibreglass.
Engine is less than 1 litre and it’s a two stroke.
My chassis came from something superior.
They planned to give me an engine from a well known brand from a country right next door.
Who am I?

a 1-liter, 2-stroke corvette would be hilarious. Show up to the corvette meets. everybody revving their engines trying to establish dominance. “BrrrrraaaaAAAAAng -ang -ang-ang-ang-ang-ang *pop*”

Wrong, BUT the plan was to use an engine from that brand. Never happened though. I’ve updated the post though, someone figured it out.

Indeed, and a first gen Corvette with a tuned two stroke Saab engine would not be THAT much slower than a first gen Corvette with the original engine :)
