I just bought these. Four-lug hubs. Ten-spoke wheels. My OCD is gonna creep up on me and shank me one night, I just know it.
Why, oh why, didn’t I go with the symmetric and psychogeometrically compatible 4-spoke two-piece “mags” or 8-spoke Panasport clone route?
Oh, yeah, ‘cause I can’t find any 4- or 8-spoke wheels in 15x7 that are less than 16 lbs.

I’ve never seen a 4-spoke wheel that looked good.
You could always machine/print some sort of inset the goes over the lug nut area so you can’t see how many are there.

Did you buy them to put on a vehicle? It’s only a huge mistake if you don’t have a car to put them on.
As for me, I prefer 5 or 7 spokers. But your mileage may vary.

You don't have OCD otherwise you wouldn't have bought them.

I went with the Enkei Comps, they are a little heavier but it’s ok. Feel the symmetry!!

I like that. These are ok too.

The Celica Supra’s are 8-spoke.

5 spokes for 5 lugs, I’ll grant you that.

BRE 240 would disagree.

Still not to my taste. They just scream 80’s to me.

Fair enough, but it respects the symmetry of the lug pattern.

BRMs are the only ones that I can think of that I like, but the eye is fooled into thinking they’re 8-spoke, especially in black.

Still just looks crappy. It probably doesn’t help that 2, 3, and 4-spoke wheels are popular with the “$500 car, $6000 wheels bought with a loan” crowd where I grew up.

Oh god, 3 spoke Mustang wheels, so bad.
![]() 07/15/2015 at 23:38 |

Even worse:

Agreed. Plus, they look badass enough to re-make them in 17” & 18” .

NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, I’m out, it’s too terrible to look at!

It’s a camry! With fake fender vents! And tinted headlights!

I’m very picky and opinionated about wheels. I can tell you at least one reason why I think the stock wheels on every car were a terrible mistake and ruined what was otherwise a home run overall vehicle design. I see a lot of wheel design issues. However, I’ve never thought lug # has to match spoke # in any way. Separate functions. I like those a lot. You have my blessing FWIW!

What bolt pattern? If you have 4x100, how do you feel about 12 spokes? The 949 Racing 6UL comes in several 15” sizes and colors, and are very light. I had 15x8s (which weigh 11.6 lbs) on my NB.
Here’s my old car, I had the Nickel finish. (The last one in the series above.)

Good god, your NB looks the business. 10/10 would dragon.

6 spoke, 4 lug. For some cray-cray reason, want....

Thanks, but I got rid of it in 2008. ¯\_()_/¯
I’ve had a Mazdaspeed 6, and a 135is (complemented by a Hemi Grand Cherokee for winter) since then so I’m not suffering.

Konig Helix , 11 lbs for a 15x7 wheel . 8 spoke design, 4x100, +35 mm offset.

Mother of shit get it out of my face right now.

Equals problem solved. Now you won’t be able to tell that the lug nuts and spokes aren’t symmetrical.
