What do you guys want to know about it? I’ll be working with it all day as part of a Driving.ca video review so I’ll have plenty of time to check it out and see what it’s like to drive. I believe the test car is a high trim level car with a soft top, manual trans, and red paint as pictured.

Does Mazda get as angry as GM if you crash one into a wall?

I’m pretty sure every manufacturer gets mad when you total a limited avilability early production car. It’s not something I’m willing to test!

I’ll be curious how you think it compares to the NA/NB that is always The Answer around here. I have my own opinions based on my ride with Travis (remember him?) around Lime Rock’s autocross course, but I didn’t get to drive it - which is still a goal of mine...

I actually have considerable wheel time behind each previous Miata generation so I’ll let you know how this one stacks up!

When the driver’s seat is at it’s lowest, what’s the distance from the seat to the top of the windshield? I ask because I sat in a NC Miata at the Toronto Auto Show a couple of years ago, and my eyes were perfectly in line with the top bar of the windshield, so I had to either duck or stretch up to see.

I wish, man. When I’m shooting, I have the car for a long time but we’re on a tight schedule to get all the shots we need.

Usually no but I do get nice press cars in LA every now and then. I’ll keep you posted

Yeah I have some questions!

1. How does the lightness feel compare to the other generations of Miata?

2. How fast does it feel when going the speed limit, for example when I used to to have my NA going 60 mph it really felt like I was going 80 mph. although this may also have been because mine was a death trap.

3. Is it worth the money over a NC??

4. Is it still a lot of fun even with all the added safety regulations?

Thanks in advance!
