Kinja'd!!!

This is just part of Palmer Motorsports Park, a new track in central MA that I had the pleasure of driving this weekend. I’ll be writing up the full experience, posting video, and all that fun stuff. But I wanted to make you all a bit jealous first.

That’s a pretty cool track. My dad is from a ranch in Montana that no longer operates as a ranch, so lots of land, I have dreamed of building a track out of the way. I needs money! We even have some good elevation changes on one end of the land.

It really is. The steep uphill between turns 5 and 6 killed me, but at least it was a good place to point the Corvettes and Camaros by without lifting.

You used to have a Saturn right?

Maybe you have some words of wisdom for this fellow regarding their rear suspension.

It reminds me of an autocross course. You have a certain amount of space, and try to cram the maximum amount of track into that space as possible.

What you don’t see are the elevation changes. Watkins Glen is well known for its 141ft of elevation change. Palmer has 190ft of them.

Yes, I did - thanks for the tip. That rear suspension looks different than the S series that I’m familiar with. Maybe it’s an Ion? Either way, replacing the entire strut/spring assembly has already been suggested, and that’s probably the best bet.

If you do, you guys should run it like Ascari, as a motorsports resort.

I would. It’s near red lodge and the bear tooth highway so that’s a good driving spot on its own. Hour from Billings and Cody. Hey grandpa I have an idea.
