Canepa Cars and Coffee in Scotts Valley was terrific yesterday, with nice folks and a great collection of cars, from an ancient Cadillac to six (six!) Porsche 959s. Amazing.
Here’s another Porsche especially for Oppo:

Sure! Any particular categories you like while I’m looking for good photos?

Long running joke about Ray Wert’s love of tailpipes. The covers would prevent that from happening.

Thank you - You’ve got it! PORSCHE cars of any model, of course, but other cars as well are always good to see. Those 959s you’ve mentioned, did you take a pic of each of them? If yes, I LOVE to see those, please.

Here’s an S version of a friend he lent to the P Museum some time ago for special car exhibition. He was just horrified that someone at the P Museum, of all places( !?!) felt compelled to actually put those hidious signs on his car for visitors to realize that’s indeed an S version...

Wow, that’s awesome. I’ll see what I can post, I think I have pictures of almost all the 959s, but one was hiding under a cover. :-)
Here’s a start:

Ha, the one with those gray wheels is a _S_ version too! S does not have right side mirror (and also no hydraulics.)

Wow, interesting, thanks!

Was fortunate to spend some quality time in both the standard as well as Sport versions - Lucky me, in Germany, no less! Both AWESOME, of course, but the Sport, IMHO, is the better set up because of solid springs (see above) instead of the hydraulic suspension of the standard 959, thus appropriately referred to as the ‘Comfort version.’ That one, at least for me, is like driving a 220mph Cadillac... ;- ) It’s just way, way too soft even on the HARDEST setting of those supposedly adjustable shocks. Even took that car back to P AG to have those shocks re-checked, suspecting some glitch somewhere. It turned out, they were working properly indeed just valved too conservatively. Nowadays, those modern, electro-magnetic fluid shocks be the solution, no doubt.

Here is the friend’s S as it appears normally. The red F40 pulling up to take a side-by-side photo.
