In 1982 and 1983, you could get a Malibu in/with...

-Wagon
-RWD
-350 V8 Diesel
-3 on the tree manual
-Rear facing third row seats
-Front row bench seats

My parents had a 1980 non-wagon 2-door Malibu. It was... interesting. They eventually gave it to my brother, who drove it for a few years until the back end was almost entirely rusted away.
