What BMW’s dose it work in? I assume you can’t use them in E36’s because they are too old of a car. I hear it is a pretty good short shitfter for what it is. What do you who have had one think about them?

E60 SSK will pretty much fit in anything. I’ll get a list for you in a sec.
Edit: I’m 100% sure they fit in E9x’s, E39’s, E46’s, E34’s, and E38’s if you do a manual swap haha. E36 might work. The E60 SSK pretty much fits in every modern (2000+) manual BMW. I've seen one installed on an E36 M3.

Pretty easy swap, and the S62+6MT swap is a DREAM of mine.

There is barely any 6 speed long wheelbase swaps. Mostly short sporties get the swap and or the s62. When ever the M62b44 goes out in my car, I’m going 4.8/5.3 gm gen 3 with a 4L60e. By then the can bus wiring should be easy. I’d like to make a sleeper build.

Sounds awesome, and yeah mostly the sport shorts get the M5 swap. I would love a sleeper build E38. Would make for the perfect daily driver. It'd be awesome to have a big body BMW that can kill mustangs haha.
