As the co-chair of the Black Hills Corvette Classic ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I’m excited to be bringing about 400 Corvettes from all over the country (and Canada!!) to the South Dakota this weekend. Our event is kicking off around the Sioux Falls area for this weekend through Wednesday night.

After !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! we line up and take off across the state (400+ miles at 80 mph!) and do a bunch of fun stuff on the other side of the state. Notes if interest this year include Velocity TV’s Corvette Nation will be there filming. While filming Corvette Nation in conjunction with our event & club sponsor !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the winner gets to pick the color and transmission (Save the manuals, eh!) and even better, enough cash to pay taxes and what not on it. $100 grabs you 4 shots at it. I opted for white with manual trans obvs.

I’ll post some photos as the events go on, it’s always a fun event.

Sounds awesome. Plus now with some of SD’s new speed limits the tickets shouldn’t be as big :P

Unfortunately, where as when the limit was 75 they’d let you sneak by with 84ish they pretty much nail you for 82-83 now that the limit is 80. They’ve gotten really strict. That won’t stop people from having more fun than they should, 110 in an 80 will be the average I’m guessing.

Yep, average age I expect is a bit higher. We do have an event at the Full Throttle Saloon though. Corvette people like to drink and have fun, but mostly go fast. Two Auto-X’s and two drag racing events.
