Ok the Torino’s cigarette lighter doesn’t wanna work as a 12V slot....is it even supposed to?

Like I con’t use a phone charger in it. Dunno, could be too old for something like that but idk. I could just be an idioit and he thing is broken or something.

As far as I know it should work. Sounds broken to me. Does the lighter work?

I think Wacko is trying to tell you to check the fuse box and see if the fuse is blown.

It should as long as the fuse works and its on a 12V electrical system (ie, the battery).

Pretty sure it’s broken.

Sometimes IF YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST you can clean the contacts inside a bit.

Does the lighter work? The contacts might not be making contact, I’ve had times when I had to hold it juuust right to make it work if the socket and the plug both had crappy tolerances (DSM and cheap electronics).

My ‘71 Torino’s cig lighter could be used to do this, so yours should be able to as well. Something might be blown, like a fuse, or a connection.
