Up for Nice Price or Crack Pipe consideration is a 1987 Lancia Stratos Zagato currently asking $2000. From the company that some oaf on a formally popular world motoring show called the greatest car maker in the world, Lancia.

Kinja'd!!!

Now Lancia is known for two things. Making some of the best cars in the world, and making some of the crappiest of crap.

While it looks like they may have taken the doors (and a lot of the body design) from a Subaru Brat, the Lancia Zagato (which I think is Italian for ze cat) is most assuredly a fine piece of Italian engineering, or it will burst into flames, I don’t know which.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

What say you Opponauts. Do you want to own a nice 80s Italian coupe? It is imported, so you can join the elite import culture which includes people like Doug DeMuro. Do you want to be Doug DeMuro?

Nice Price: I have my cash and fire extinguisher in hand.

Crack Pipe: Where is my “return to sender” stamp.

NP. I already have a Lancia project, but hey, this is a little more interesting than the ubiquitous, beat to shit, 80’s Alfa Spider.

2 grand? Ah, the first taste is free. How much rust is underneath? And that transmission oil - probably smells like a July 4th brisket gone bad. Steering rack likely shot, brakes only in name, floorpan? I can see the light. CP even if it is free.

One like the white Zagato sat for about a year at my favorite garage, I guess fuel injection parts non-existent. Drop a honda drive train in it and go lemons racing.....
