People regularly swap liter bike motors into classic minis here state side. I love em

It’s no that unusual here either, I just wanted to show you guys in the US an old Ford Escort doing fun stuff :)

They are, I must say I like “proper cars” with bike engines better though :)

The hand clutch gets annoying after a while, and using a bike clutch with a pedal doesn’t quite feel right to the foot touch.

Wait... What, these cars have a hand clutch? I always thought they had no clutch shifting.. just rev matching.

Ah sorry, I meant all of that for a road-going car.

Yeah, all the ones I posted only “use” the clutch to get moving, there’s different systems on them so the driver doesn’t manually clutch the car to shift gears.

How’s the hillclimbing going this year?

Any time you want.

Depends. It comes down to how the engine comes-with a cable or a hydraulic clutch. And how much work you want to do. Quick + easy is a hand clutch mounted to the shifter. (I have a pedal.) I use the clutch just to take off-flat shift from there.

A bad idea is a car engine in a bike. Except for the Tomahawk. That thing was awesome.
