If you're shopping for a cheap car, and want to see if the interior fits you without having to go on a test drive, hop on over to your local auto recyclers and sit in any cars that you are looking at. I'm planning on doing this soon.

Why not just go and sit in the actual car in question? It never hurts...

Let’s say that you’re looking at firebirds but aren’t sure you can fit comfortably in one. You can sit in the junkyard model without wasting the actual seller’s time. You can also score a cool badge.

Still...... It’s easier just doing something in one step instead of going to a junkyard.

Yeah, but if you've ever sold something on Craigslist, you'll know that tire-kickers can be tiresome.

I'd do this just because I love going to the junkyard.

Me too. There's something cool about scavenging parts. It makes you feel more like an Alpha Male (or Alpha Female, if you're a lady).
