I’m not sure, but looking at the screen you are showing, I would say you still are not a pro-gamer. Looks more like you are becoming a programer. ;P

actually I’m using ubuntu as a testing environment on a local VM before shuffling the processes over to a headless CentOS 6.6 cluster.
(I also use the Ubuntu VM to avoid visiting oppo on the work machine’s browser ;) )

I saw the VM window, had to give a little crap for that. And I have used VMs to keep things off where they shouldn’t belong as well ;)
How is CentOS? I’ve tried a couple times to move away from Debian-based distros but just can’t do it, too used to Aptitude I guess. My last few distros have been SparkyLinux and Crunchbang, haven’t used Ubuntu since probably 2010.

Remember the title of this post? SELINUX confuses me and makes my life hard. It won’t let you so much as touch file.txt without sudo and a half-dozen policy allowances. Setting up security policies makes me cringe. The repositories are almost always well behind the current release as their concentration is on STABILITY and SECURITY and without extensive testing how can you assure that? (I use EPEL extensiveley and still have to compile locally (especially with the “cutting edge” -two year old standards- web stuff I’m building my automation chains off of) quite often...
It’s taught me a hell of a lot, and it’s stable as a 12-inch thick concrete slab, but I can’t say I actually *LIKE* it.
