I’m making the schedule for this upcoming series right now and was wondering you guys wanted to try different layouts of the tracks instead of the full configurations we normally use. Infineon and Circuit de Catalunya are the ones I was specifically thinking of, any thoughts?

Fine by me. Infineon is fun in any configuration. Catalunya as long as it’s not the school circuit.

I tend to find full the best, but always up to change

I was thinking the National Circuit anyways, it’s about a 1:20 lap time and a lot more interesting than the full configuration so it should be more fun. Tbh I’m just getting tired of the big straightaway/ 90* corner tracks that Forza has, we need some tighter, more technical tracks like Laguna Seca and Infineon.

Well I figure we’ve raced these tracks a lot, might as well throw some variety into the mix. Plus the more experienced guys will probably be less familiar with the different configurations so it might even out the playing field as well.

All depends really on what class is this our GT series?

I’m fine with mixing it up a little. So long as there’s no Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit, lol.

All I ask is we do all the tracks in the US for the series. Infineon NASCAR and Sunset Peninsula Short Reverse.

Definitely no Nurburgring GP, hate that track. That and the Hockenheimring, apparently all tracks in Germany except the Nordschleife got ruined by Tilke.

:( EricIsDaywalker is going to run a similar series on a different day so you can get in on that, I guess.

I’ll be on the lookout. Believe me man, if I had it my way I’d be at every race.

Grand-Am. I think we’ll be doing a Petit Le Mans-inspired race at Road Atlanta in October if you’re wanting to get a GT car fix.

Gotcha, same rules as before? Also maybe a Multi class Gran AM? LIke Ford GT40’s, Daytona Coupes Shelby 427’s? Something like that?

I’ll race on any track that isn’t one of the mini configurations like Ladera. I know you said you didn’t like the Hockenheimring, but the shortest configuration for that track is actually pretty good, but may be too short of a track. I was also going to suggest Tsukuba, but that is also possibly too short. Both Sedona full and club are pretty good. We could always try Camino Viejo and hope for the best.

Also, #WeWantRaceTransmissions.

I don’t mind Hockenheimring, but the Nurburgring GP course has zero rhythm or flow and one section in particular has these weird...washboards when driving high-powered RWD or AWD cars.

Like I was telling Viggen I think we’ll reserve multi-class for the one-off specialty races where we can guarantee a large number of people so both classes are populated. We had like 5 people in one lobby last series so that’d kind of suck if those cars were spread across two classes.

Ah, but I think we need a Vintage LeMans racer series, like I said the GT40,Daytona Coupe, P4/5, etc.

I’d like to do that as well, maybe a multi-class with GT40 vs. P4 and Daytona Coupe vs. 250 GTO. Something for Forza 6 I guess.

I am very much interested, good thing your cars aren’t going to waste. I was planning on starting the Grand-Am series a week before yours which I think could be a great way to prep racers for your higher-performance series.
