I shall refer people to this list when they talk about how good American made cars are.

I was going to mention the Windsor engine, but it turns out that it was only originally manufactured there, not always manufactured there, so it appears that Canada never made the ones you want.

Gonna need to revise that list, because here’s 4 with 303, all built Oshawa, Ontario. That beats the Theta twins and the Chrysler minivan twins.

2005–2008 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP
2006–2009 Chevrolet Impala SS
2006–2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS
2008–2009 Buick LaCrosse Super
On top of that, the 2011-14 Ford Edge Sport has 305, and the new one has 310, both built in Oakville, Ontario.

I was kinda sticking to cars that are on sale right now. But I’ll add the Ford edge.

Alright. Oh, and the first generation Lincoln MKX is still in production, with the same 3.7 V6 from the original Edge Sport with 305hp, and the next generation MKX will have two engines that qualify, the base 3.7 with horsepower reduced to 300, and an optional 2.7 EcoBoost with 335.
Also, a little correction on the 2015 Edge Sport, it’s 315, not 310.

Yeah, car parts are made everywhere so it doesn’t really matter to me where they came from.

With that logic the Maserati Ghibli is American since the engine block is built by Chrysler in US.

I meant as far as the list goes, shouldnt it be only cars with engines made in Canada. As for the Ghibli Chrysler engines, the parts are shipped and then put together and tuned in Italy if I’m not mistake.

They’re not actually Chrysler engines, just the block itself is built by them in the US. It gets sent to Italy where Ferrari assembles the rest at its Modena plant.

So its pretty much Italian at that point. As for the list some cars are part American, Canadian, and Mexican.

VAG tuner from Vancouver. A couple of their cars have been included in various Gran Turismo games. Since GT lets you sort/group its car list by country, the only cars listed under “Canada” are the Golf R32 & Audi TT from HPA Motorsports.
