Have you ever had a Lotus Moment? I’m of course referring to Cletus44’s $200 Lotus caper. Have you ever had a car that you just couldn't save? Here's mine. My Cutlass is beyond me, therefore, I'm selling it.

I defintely know the feeling. But sometimes we have to let go. It doesn’t mean that your next car can’t be completely awesome though!

To have my trans am back in a shape that I can be relatively proud of? Yes. But at very worst if I sold it, I can make back any cash that I spent.

If I give up now, I’ve wasted the money. if I keep going until it’s perfect, I’ll have it for a while and will get the enjoyment cost out of it, I think.

I am slowly getting there. This afternoon my car pissed about half it’s coolant onto the driveway. It runs a tad warm, but has not gone into limp-in mode yet. For bonus points, guess who is moving today/tomorrow (thus the insomnia in a hotel room.) I really hope the new landlord is open minded about using the driveway for “quick and easy” maintenance. I think the car is also trying to level up to the burning oil stage of head gasket failure (faint burnt oil smell on occasion.) Good times... good times...
