I really like my Sonic. Most surprising? How amazing the handling is on sticky tires with a rear swaybar.

What do I like least? The lack of armrests.

I test-drove an RS model last week, and genuinely liked it. The turbo pulls very well from down low, and the ride and interior quality/materials really impressed me. My only nitpicks were that I’d like more power up top, and the handling didn’t totally blow me away—but you can’t have everything, right? What thoughts could you offer to a prospective buyer?

A tune gives it a lot more power, and a rear swaybar and sticky tires fixed the handling.

Did you notice a difference with the aftermarket sway bar on the road or really only at the limit while autocrossing?

Where did you get it? I haven’t done a ton of research on them yet, but wondered if a bigger one would help tighten up the roll during normal driving. I rarely track my Sonic, but enjoy spirited drives and wondered if it would really be worth it.
