Saw this CL ad:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

and at first I was thrown by the need to fix the Upper Oil Pan, but I did a quick search and found out that this is a real thing on this car.

I decided that this is probably a run-away-as-fast-as-you-can car though. It has no interior shots and this little item on the list of needed repairs “Interior door covers.” So there are 4 of those.

I’m guessing the entire interior is thrashed.

(I’m just snooping on CL, right now. The 450SL I purchased recently is consuming all my funds currently. $2000+ at the mechanic to get it road legal. It’s nice to dream about something better than the Accord though.)

G35’ engine might have 2-piece oil pan. Here’s some picture from random G37 parts catalog. I guess the part #21 could be called as an upper oil pan.

Kinja'd!!!

Jumo 205 aviation diesel would have both lower and upper oil pans.

Kinja doesn’t like me today...

Yep, I looked at the G35 boards and people confirmed it existed. Sounds a bit odd, but I guess, engineering.
