And he’s a month old (he was born a month early and tomorrow was supposes to be his “real” due date), and its freaking me... I know he’s okay because our bedrooms are right next to each other and we have a baby monitor AND an IP Video Cam in his room.. But still.. He hasn’t slept this long ever.....
Picture of him for your time...

Aww he’s a adorable, yeah my little one slept really well really early on, you’ll read a lot of crazy stuff online about not letting them sleep too long, our pedatrition yelled at us cause we’d wake up our little girl and feed her.
“If she ain’t crying and she is still putting on weight, don’t wake her” is what she told us.
Never wrecking regardless you want to take care of them all the time in the beginning.
My little one is just over 5 months, she says you should just sleep while you can,

Mine all started sleeping through the night at 3 months. GLORIOUS.

Both of these things (as in infant sleeping longer than usual, and parents starting to worry) are normal.

Yeah, so far our monthly schedule has been to wake up every 2-3 hours to him crying for a bottle/diaper change regardless of the time.. This is the first time this has happened so we’re a bit on edge, lol.

Them little feet!!!
They don't sleep. At least in my experience. My daughter didn't sleep for more than 4 hours at a time for two years

Here is a tip, when they are sleeping you should be sleeping. Day, night, naps, anytime is a good time to nap.
He is a cutie, working that clutch foot already.
Congratulations on having him in his own room early on. We had ours in their own room from day 1. I hear having them in your bed is a hard habit to break, for both them & you.
Hang in there, it is a roller coaster of ups & downs.
We took our 2.5 year old to the ER because he ran out the back door of my inlaws, tried to go under the bbq grill side shelf an busted his head on the corner. Hour & a half later & 2 staples we outta there.

I was on your shoes 9 months ago, except we would wake our daughter up to eat every 3 to 4 hours. That stretched out, and now she sleeps through the night like a teenager.

Also: the crib will fit I the closet if the doors are off. More playroom, and quiet nook..

I've got three kids, and it's one of the most painful ironies of parenthood: you can't wait for your baby to sleep through the night, and the first time they do, you're still up every thirty minutes checking on them. You should try it with twins sometime. Congrats. He's a cutie!

Seeing things like this really enforces my love for the Oppo community. It randomly pops up and there are people there to immediately support you. I hope it is still the same way many years down the road when I'm in your shoes.

I’m in a similar situation, but we don’t hit the due date for another two weeks. He’s still in the bassinet next to us. I’m glad to know I have something new to freak out about when he doesn’t wake up like a clock every 3 hours. Congratulations! and Good Luck!

Thanks for all the encouragement and tips and experiences guys. He woke up shortly after posting this and needed feeding, then slept for another three hours until another feeding was needed.
