You’ve seen them, they just look exactly like Galants so you just never noticed them.

Yeah I know they were sold here, but I was just saying they were made in Australia :)

Super cheap flagship sedan from Mitsubishi. Leather, torquey V6, quiet interior, self-leveling lights, and frameless windows. Plus a big back seat.

I’ve seen a couple - including one owned by a high school chum. All I recall (mid 90s) is that the car was thought complicated for its time. Electronics and such.

See my comment - I think the issue was electronics. Saw a mid-90s one that seemed way more complicated than my ‘97 SHO. WAAAAY more ....

That would probably explain it.
I’ve seen a bunch on Craigslist with bad engines, bad transmissions, the entire song and dance.

My parents daily’d a 2001 until 2009, and the only issue it had was a wonky shift knob. I would like to find one if only they could be had in good condition still.

Elsewhere in the thread I saw something about self-adjusting headlamps. Problematic even today.

These are all over Australia. My theory is that every single one is dented. It sure seems that way.

I see one every day. It’s beat up, white and the rear s covered in bumper stickers. It’s owned my a very odd Native American fellow.
And when my sister-in-law was looking for a car she looked at a face lifted 2004 model. Which some how was even uglier.
