I was doing 80 down a highway yesterday, when I noticed a familiar face approaching quickly in my rear view. Before I knew it, a CTSV coupe goes flying by ar around 120.

Caddy isn’t stealing from any Germans. They make nice cars, but a big percentage of BMW owners buy BMW again, Merc owners buy more Mercs, and Audi buyers buy Audi.

Caddy might be stealing people who normally would’ve bought a Mercury or Lincoln.

People just get used to what they know - BMW owners are used to pulling door handles twice, Benz owners get used to not checking a dipstick and Audi owners are used to saying “it’s cool, i can go faster than everyone else in the snow, i have QUATTRO!”

Hey now, my BMW unlocked as soon as you put your hand between the handle and the door.

Also, I went BMW->Audi->Ford so I don’t think I fit that group.

I meant getting out of the car. I’m not really in the group either because i have zero intention of buying another BMW. My E39 is the top of the mountain, and the new ones don’t do it for me.

Biggest issue people have with my E46? Pulling up on the door handle to open the door instead of out. Gets ‘em every time.
