Maybach 57. I’ve ridden in both a 57s and a 62S and these are rapidly depreciating.

Why not an AMG S-Class? Faster, and far better-looking.

If I had car with a driver, I want stealth, in case the revolution comes. Black Lexus 600hL. In a Maybach, you’ll be among the first casualties.

I need to hear the story of how you managed to get in a maybach not once but twice.

No one will know what a Maybach is. An S-Class on the other hand...

Maybachs are stealth from a distance, then the second that somebody notices that isn’t a Mercedes badge..........

Well, I see a few of them here in the city, and they don’t look stealth to me - especially with the two-tone paint. OTOH - I know what it is. And I haaaate it.

Haha, my time in the back of a 57s was spent toying with everything in the back. Didn’t get too much attention, a few extended stares but no pictures or anything along those lines.

I once got to test drive a 57 in Switzerland, because the salesman was bored ( and probably drunk enough to think I apparently looked like someone who’d buy one). I can assure you it was the most amazing experience.

You don’t know who I am, or what I do.
Not exactly something you’d take pictures during....

They’ll know what a Maybach is. They’ll know it’s a Mercedes, and a big one.

What city?
I have said this here before - noting that the majority of the Maybachs I see seem to be hotel cars. The Mandarinhas a couple, and there’s a hotel at 50th and Madison that has at least one (can’t recall the name). Most rich people here with drivers have Town Cars, S-Classes, I’ve seen a few BMWs 7s and Audi A8Ls. And the aforementioned Lexus that, for reliability’s sake, I recommended my SigOther’s boss get for his driver.

London and Los Angles respectively. Not Los Angles as much, but Maybachs were surprisingly common in London.

Were they RHD? For all that money you’d think you’d get the steering wheel on the ‘right’ side.

I honestly can’t even remember, I’ll try and dig up the one or two pictures that I took though.

I have a stupid memory for detail - and, two-tone paint would have haunted my dreams.

They were both black on black, that I can remember.
The 62s had the “Get the fuck out of my face” shield between the driver and rear compartment, I’m pretty sure that it would have to be up to drink in the backseat.
