Why do people want a brown manual diesel wagon so badly? Seriously I do not understand the love for this very specific item, nor would I even want a brown car. Diesel manual, yeah of course I would want one of the many cars Europe gets that the US doesn’t.

I dont get it either. I’m all for wagons and manuals, but I’m not a fan of diesels unless its an HD truck, and brown car? Ewwwwww.

Only a few cars I go crazy that I can’t have in the US. LR Defender. Holden Maloo. And any diesel from VW BlueMotion lineup. Yeah I know it’s a wide variety

I know it at least started as a joke. People always bitching about manuals, wagons, diesels, I don’t think those needs explanation. Brown is an underused color, where it’s used it usually looks very good, and there was a period where it was almost in the same category as the first three. The BMDW is just a combination of all the aforementioned “positive” attributes into a “perfect” jalopnik vehicle, and somewhat of a meme(?). Like “because racecar” or I think it’s a lambo.
