Kinda forgot what down low torque feels like.
Brakes are still shit, it’s slow, and it sounds like multiple components are shot... BUT, it’s still comfortable as hell and the ride is still smooth.
I may have took a turn at M3 speeds and almost fell over though. Dat body roll could knock you out of your lounge chair seat.
Also, lol huge fluid puddle where it sits.

That interior looks like it’s maybe out of Playskool plastics...

Dude, it’s a GM product from 1994 and rolled off the factory line as a work van and was customized. What the hell else would the dash be made out of beside plastic? I get you’re against American cars but come on. It’s a 21 year, mainstream American van not a damn Range Rover.

*Clears throat* how’s your families Odyssey’s interior? Or do we just not talk about that?

Haha. I’ll talk about it. It’s doing better. It got a detail a few weeks back. That still doesn’t solve the issues that it came with from the factory.

You’d hate my dads work E-Series then. That’s got plastic interior and is loud and not much insulation. Still probably out run and out last that Odyssey though. Damn, simple materials for simple vehicles, didn’t realize it was a crime against humanity. Let me just call the UN, this must be taken care of promptly.

I was going to add a comment about how much better things are now... So here it is! The most comparable thing now is the Tahoe. Would you agree?
I’m not sure what trim this is, but it looks amazing. All of the materials look high quality. All of this on the “entry-level” Tahoe. GM did a good thing with the Tahoe/Suburban redesign.

I think the Acadia or Traverse would be more comparable. Those are the minivans of now.
Though, really the full-size vans are comparable. They're the only things that get aftermarket customization like the Safaris anymore.

The Odyssey could be considered the modern day equivalent to this Safari.
As far as the E-Series: Yes, the E-Series will last longer, I get it. But honesty, who keeps a car long enough for that to matter?

You’d be surprised. Up here in the country people keep their vehicles for a long ass time.
