I’m still waiting for the AE95 Corolla Alltrac Wagon owner to reply to me. I found out last night the curb weight is 2381 lb. A 3S-GTE from a ST205 Celica makes ~251 HP. The power to weight ratio is a staggering 9.4 lb/hp. That’s Testerossa and Lotus Elise territory. This video shows how fast it scrambles to max speed. I’m just jumping around waiting for the guy to reply back to me...

I realize there is an aftermarket tach, but the needle not moving on the factory one would drive me insane.
That being said, I love those motors. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah...and the budget will be around 2500 dollars for a ST205 with the transmission...

A C7 which is awesome, but nothing exotic, sits at 7.3 lb/hp stock.
I’m thinking a “staggering” power to weight ratio tops out at 5 lb/hp.

But it’s a BMW. It’ll break.

It’s still pretty good for a late 80’s wagon. Better than this. I plan to rally this mofo.

2381 as a wagon with AWD? That’s insanely light.

Yes. That’s even lighter than a ST185 (3200 lb ish). SO awesome.

I want to do a 3S-GTE GT-Four swap in my Corona Exiv. Celica platform and a 3S-FE already should make it a breeze!
