Any back story on this picture?

This showed up ALL OVER the internets on Sunday for Father’s Day, but a quick reverse GIS shows nothing.

It could be a shop, but I’m sure others here have seen more shops in their times, and enhanced pixels. From what I can deduce, it’s a 2014+ Mazda3 sedan with blacked out wheels and tinted windows.... in grey. With a very happy looking young lass missing a tooth and wielding a weapon of paint destruction.

So, Oppo, anything YOU can dig up on this?

Clearly a photoshop but it’d be hard to be mad at the kid for me. Growing up without a dad and with a stepdad that pretty much hated me, I can say that showing love in regular ways was rejected. Doing something like this would’ve been as well (obviously) and it would have broke my little heart.

That said, I’d teach the kid more effective and less expensive ways to tell me they loved me. Haha.

Certainly looks like a shop to me.

Even if it’s real, I’d probably have a tough time being too mad at my daughter. It looks like she’s really proud of what she did because she loves her dad so much. She’s young and doesn’t know any better. What would it be, a $500 deductible? You’re going to scream in your kid’s face because they are too young to know that scratching auto paint can’t be undone and is very expensive?

Hell, my pre-schooler spilled a pitcher of red kool aid on a freshly stained deck once. Ruined days worth of work. She was more upset than me, and when I asked her why she dragged it outside she told me it was because daddy looked thirsty working in the yard. Such a torrent of feels.
