Help me, Xbone Oppo ppl

So I got a pre-owned(?) Xbone for Father’s Day, because my wife is nuts and even though I told her I’d rather spend my nights and weekends in the garage (I haven’t) working on my Trans Am (barely) than play vidya gaymes, she thought I deserved it. And she likes watching me kill zombies in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

So I hooked her all up, ran my WiiU through the HDMI instead of TV because FUCK leaving it on all the time just so the kids can watch cartoons, and after the 2gig update for the system, and the FIVE gig install of the game.... I have yet to play anything on it.

But.

It says I can download Forza5. And it doesn’t say anywhere about cost. What? Its a 40+ gig download and when I went to the Xbox store it just said “Do you really want to download this? It’ll take all fuckin day” but never said a price.

Am I supposed to get it for free?

Should I?

Is it not ironic that my WiiU is accessed through my Xbox? Huehue.

Could it be one of the titles the Xbox came with? I know I got 2 free games with mine when I bought it, its possible the last owner didn’t install it and use up the code.

Ah... You might not have Forza 5. Bundles tend to come with download codes and if it is pre-owned it most likely has been used.

Edit: Actually I might be wrong. Assuming you have already entered the code, then you have nothing to worry about. When a game is registered to your account, the price is replaced by ‘install’ on the Xbox store. After it has been installed it should say ‘play’.

I have to advice since my most advanced system is a Wii, but I have never understood wanting to watch people play video games. My son will beg me to play Zelda so that he can watch. If I’m watching someone play then it is because I’m waiting for my turn.

I got a code for it with mine (bought new) - it’s possible yours is just waiting for you to download it. I’d definitely try, because that sounds like the stage after “bought” or “entered code” - it would otherwise most likely be showing you a price rather than listing as eligible for download, I think. It definitely won’t try to spook-charge you without showing you a price at some point unless the previous is true.

I know the earlier consoles had it bundled in as a download. The po either forgot and didnt download or its able to be done for free!

Hmmm, thats interesting, usually it would have the price. Id download it, best free game you’ll ever play.

Also, I love State of Decay but they keep killing my favorite characters! It's like the game keeps playing when you turn it off, it's so frustrating.

Its all in how well you’re set up BEFORE you turn it off. I had one guy going 20+ Breakdown levels and was getting BORED. Looks like they’ve amped up the difficulty though with the Xbone edition.

I didn’t look into any others than Fiveza. At 40+ gigs I would assume its the full game. Even had DLC next to it.

It sure doesn’t take long before you fill up the harddrive. Got a 2TB external HD recently.
