Yeah. Did you see that guy do the flip in zero G? I think she’s awesome and not in a wanna-get-with-you kind of way; more like, wouldn’t it be cool if she were my daughter or my niece or something? Really makes me proud.

I sometimes (read: most times) run into trouble with other folk trying to convince them of the broad based gene and environment (nature and nurture) aspect of talent, and how it doesn’t care about blood lines, economic status, sex, race, etc. Sure, there’s tendencies in lines, but it’s not written in stone either way. What I have trouble with is denying *any* chance for someone to show talent - because talent can show up anyplace statistically speaking. And mandating that “women can’t fly” or “men can’t parent” or pick your favorite gender based meme, is silly (but like I said, there’s tendencies.. just not absolutes.)

Everyone should have a chance. And, this video is hot.

Sorry I’m aiming that at the weaksauce reporting, but this is a very cool story. How it took that long to say “well she doesn’t fly the Hornet” is ridiculous too.
