Soooo, I got a trailer hitch for bikes, trailers, trays and everything else you can hook up. I’m having some trouble installing though. It’s supposed to be SUPER easy. 4 bolts and you’re set. The issues I’m having are that the bolts are tough to clear the exhaust, and it seems like the holes on my Jeep’s frame aren’t totally.... well.. circular. Any JK owners run into the same issues? I’ve got 3/4 bolts in there. I do still need to torque to spec, as I did the initial install with just a socket wrench. It’s a Quadratec mount.

its not a jeep/mopar hitch? did you get it from a 3rd party? I had a hitch once I bought from e-trailer and it was so out of spec that the bolt holes wouldn’t even line up, I had them send me a new one. if thats not the case, it may just be a case of the dammits and torn knuckles.

Having done this a few times, as recent as 4 weeks ago, do the inner, harder ones first. Leave everything loose, don’t even snug them. Exhaust and bumper clearance is an issue but doable.

Nah, it’s a Quadratec, another trusted brand.

Are all the bolts loose or did you tighten them as you go?
