I’m moving to Charlotte in a month - got an apartment suggested by the college right on the edge of campus with a path to my classroom for a decent rate.

My point is look and see what your school suggests as a good place to live, and it will be decently priced, decently located, and decent to live with.

Buy a cheap used RV. Fix it up as nice as you want inside. Park it where you want.
