Apparently a camera on your face makes you a scary, creepy, asshole, despite the fact everyone has cameras in their phones at all times.
Still, I think augmented reality is the future, so Google will be back with another offering, just a question as to whether someone else beats them there first. It does need to have a better killer app than “you can look up and read your email” though.

Hololens is what everyone wanted anyway. Full field of view AR instead of a tiny square in your peripheral vision. After watching the video below, imagine looking into an engine bay and having it walk you step by step through a DIY project.

Sorry to anyone that may have bought it on here.
1.) At $2,000+, anyone who bought it was definitely committed to it and wouldn’t admit that it’s flawed and pretty useless and therefore rather smush it into their lives somehow than cutting their losses and selling them on EBay to...
2.) People who would’ve gotten it at a lower price point. And possibly may have liked the idea and become a customer of it in the future.
But instead they never sold it any less than $2,000. And people who tried to sell it at a loss, Google threatened to disable any devices sold to another person.
And you can’t even blame over-selective invite-only system for its downfall. The OnePlus One is a huge success.

If Apple made it, millions of them would be sold in the first hour.
