The car in question is a 1982 Fiat 124 Spider. It’s originally a California car, fuel injected, has zero rust, runs and drives great but has little issues like an ill-fitting top and non-functioning tachometer. The price is $5,000 CDN. What do you guys think?

Kinja'd!!!

I’d obviously prefer an earlier, carbureted car but even with the funky Bosch injection, I think it’s a good buy for the price.

And some of you might be wondering about what’s going on with my $200 1969 Lotus Europa. Well I havent posted about it for a while because I have some very big and bittersweet news about it. I’ll have a full article up soon at Driving.ca and I’ll post it here as well.

I wish. Those things rusted out years ago here in Ontario. If you can find one running and driving under five grand I’d buy that sucker TONIGHT.

These Fiat’s beat the MG’s of the same period, and are a ton of fun. Beware, however, that thing will rust like crazy in Ontario, and you’ll find other little fun items as time goes on. Plus, you’re gonna have to pay tax when you take it back into Canada.

Will hoon, would buy.
