"Branden J -Reading the Manual" (intakelake)

My grandfather invited me over to visit, and I came home with all of these.
Everything there is made in the USA, and has lifetime warranty. My grandfather was a mechanic for many years, but is getting old enough now he can’t work on his own cars, so he gave me these. Now I’m gunna need a bigger toolbox.

heirloom tools. That’s a good win.

Nice haul. Lot of useful tools there. Brake spring tool is a must have if you have any cars with drums. Like me.

My car has rear drums so it will come in handy at some point down the road. I actually could have used one of those line wrenches the other day working on my grandma’s power steering pump, but oh well, at least I have them now

Several of them were actually my great grandfathers. He had a set of wrenches specifically made for adjusting valves on a flathead V-8, they hadn’t been used in a while.

Is that wire stripper really made in USA? I have exactly similar looking one but it’s definitely China made stuff. But it still works after plenty of use.

That might not have been, that’s one of the only ones I didn’t check, it probably isn’t

Very cool! looks like some good tools. On top of that, it’s awesome that you can, in some small way, keep your grandfathers legacy going.
