I literally don’t know what the fuck it is, I just have to go with Google’s own individual episode descriptions which are not only less than helpful in providing a series-wide synopsis (other than it’s apparently about an indie band) but actually manage to be kinda painful to read:
“Jack and the band are in Chicago. Jack visits a radio station to promote the band’s upcoming show at the Riviera. Jack meets with a new manager who has a more old=fashioned approach to Jack’s career. Jack and Mikey have an impromptu jam session at a local guitar store. Jack finds himself in an awkward photoshoot set up by his new manager. The band plays “Rollercoaster” to a sold out crowd. Jack tries to reach his girlfriend but runs into a man literally from the lake.” - S1E1 description
