I am pleased to announce that we have another Maine member - BaseTrim, right in my town! Hopefully he lives up to his name, since most of you know my love of the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . He works maybe 3 blocks away from me, so we are going to go catch a few beers after work.

Come out for Woodward weekend!! Travis and I have two spare rooms, a basement, and a futon, so we’ll be offering spaces to out of towners.

And yes, JW was a bit campy but still fun. Probably even better in 3D too.

Okay, August 15th. There is a bell ringing in my head about that date, but if that is the one weekend I have free I may be able to jump in the Invicta and roll out with my lady quick like. I drove back from Chicago a few years back in roughly a day so it isn’t too bad. Same goes both ways though - ever looking towards Maine let me know!

It was good in 3D, though I’m not sure it offered anything over the standard experience. There were some definite moments where the 3D could’ve been used for an exaggerated effect but wasn’t

I’m up to three Opponauts met in person, but since I’m responsible for one of them being an Opponaut, that’s cheating. (The other two are Biturbo and 4muddyfeet.) I’m looking into the possibility of the Maine sojourn, but this week I’ve got a conditioner to finish designing and I don’t yet know how much of my attention it will devour whole.

I’ve met up with Stelios a few times, and Sixt9Coug when I was in LA this year, and SR20 just last month. I should meet up with J. Walter Weatherman sometime soon. I really ought to meet up with more, but timing never seems to work out.

yeah the timing can be tough, I think I have met around 12 of us. Calzonegolem is a given and have hung with him a few times since he is the only other active Opponaut in the state until now. Carl Levine also because he is close. All super people for real
